Our Process

On-Site Examination: The appraiser meticulously examines all property, noting artist, style, condition, obtaining measurements and photographs.

Photographs: Digital photographs are taken to document the property and aid with research. These photographs are included in the final appraisal report.

Office and Research Time: The appraiser researches artists, styles, verifies dates, locates comparable items and selling history, investigates appropriate markets and consults experts when necessary. This research yields an accurate report that fully protects you and your property.

Preparation Time: The appraisal report is written in compliance with the International Society of Appraisers’ Appraisal Report Writing Standard, and Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). The report will include a cover document that details the scope of the work, process taken, definitions of values used and a list of items with descriptions, photographs, comparable data, and the appraiser’s qualifications. The report is then delivered in digital or bound format.
